We are coming together to celebrate some key milestones in the organic industry.
This is the first event for the organic industry forming as a single organic sector and we want you to be a part of it!

The consultation is spread over two days with three scheduled events.

Unification afternoon 12pm-4pm – Old Parliament House - Canberra
 

• The unification sessions will involve important updates on the crucial work on policy, governance and the legislative changes for the organic industry. Its time we unified our voice and focus on how much we have in common.

• Come and celebrate a historic step in our journey to become a unified organic sector
• Meet other like minded people in the organic industry
• Speak to your local member and encourage them to attend the BBQ being hosted by the Parliamentary Friends of Primary Producers
• The organic sector is one of the fastest growing areas in agriculture
• Australia’s clean and green reputation puts primary producers in a strong position to help meet the world’s appetite for high-quality organic products
• Come and hear about the Organic Action Plan, involving the Australian Government and industry, aimed at building a stronger Australian organics sector and generating greater opportunities for farmers to share their premium produce with the world

• Vital information from the federal government regarding the agricultural competitiveness white paper.

• International speakers will discuss the organic action plan, getting export regulations right and how to build an organic industry market access strategy.

• Hear from those who are at the front line of organic export.
